NIFTY Terminal ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our web application.
We use PostHog to automatically record browsing sessions after our analytics software loads. Recordings can include clicks, scrolling, page content, search terms, selected funds or indices, and the inputs and results in Strategy Lab and the FIRE calculator, such as investment amounts, ages, expenses, savings, and return assumptions. We review recordings to identify confusing workflows, invalid entries, and other usability problems and improve the product.
Email addresses, passwords (including when shown on screen), verification codes, and account name and phone fields are masked in the browser before upload. Account avatars are blocked. URL query strings and fragments are removed from recording metadata. Console logs, canvas content, and network requests are not recorded. Recordings are retained for up to 30 days. If you are signed in, a recording may be associated with your account identifier in PostHog. Contact privacy@niftyterminal.com with questions or requests concerning your recorded data.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, which provides enterprise-grade security measures.
We use cookies and browser storage to maintain your session and preferences and to associate analytics and recordings with a browser session. We do not use this data for third-party advertising.
We use PostHog to count page visits and actions such as completing a Strategy Lab analysis. These product events use broad labels and counts, not your fund choices, portfolio amounts, search text, email address, or phone number. Session recordings separately include the visible tool inputs described above. We use Supabase for authentication and data storage. These services have their own privacy policies.
